It doesn't matter if a cave has been in darkness for 10,000 years or half an hour, once you light a match it is illuminated.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Part of the first session will be spent reviewing the initial intake paperwork you completed and answering any questions or concerns you have about therapy. The rest of that session, up to the third session, will be spent identifying client goals and assessing the best options for treatment.

Unfortunately, this answer varies per individual, couple, and family. Most clients will attend regular weekly visits as part of their treatment plan, but sometimes it is beneficial or necessary for clients to attend every other week or even once a month. This may be due to finances, time constraints, etc. We will discuss your options during your initial assessment and decide together what works best for you going forward.

RATES:

  • 15 minute phone consultation: FREE
  • Individual: $150 per 50-minute session
  • Couples: $175 per 50-minute session
  • Family: $175 per 50-minute session

Yes! I am currently in network providers for Aetna, BCBS, UHC/Optum, as well as Oscar Health.

For all other insurances, I are considered “out-of-network” providers. Clients may still get reimbursed for psychotherapy sessions even when seeing an out-of-network provider. If you would like to pursue therapy with out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with the documentation necessary to submit claims for reimbursement from your insurance company.

**Please contact your insurance to verify your mental health benefits for out-of-network services.

I accept cash, check, all major credit cards/debit cards, and FSA/HSA account cards for therapy services.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to your scheduled appointment. If there is not notification given within the 24 hour timeframe, payment for the full cost of the session will be due prior to the next appointment and no further sessions will be scheduled until all financial responsibilities are met or a payment plan is in place.

Please be aware that insurance does NOT cover Late Cancellation/No-Shows and you will be expected to pay out-of-pocket for these services.

With the new No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using their insurance coverage for mental health services, an estimate of the expected cost for treatment.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
